Benefit concert to be held in Port Chester for NYPD detective Joseph Lemm killed in Afghanistan
The stepdaughter of an NYPD detective who was killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan will perform at a benefit concert in his honor.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is planning a benefit concert for the family of Joe Lemm at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester on Feb. 25.
The West Harrison resident was killed Dec. 22.
The concert will feature Lemm's stepdaughter, Brooke, along with the New York Tenors and the Drifters. Brooke performed at a news conference announcing the event Thursday.
Former New York Mayor Rudy Guilani urged everyone to donate.
"It can help heal some of the emotional scars, which they are suffering to keep you, me, and my children safe," he said.
