3h agoWestchester County Executive George Latimer returned to his hometown of Mount Vernon Tuesday to discuss the Bee-Line free fare summer program.
Latimer is encouraging residents to ditch their cars and get free rides while the deal lasts.
The promotion runs through Labor Day and includes all the routes in the fixed bus system - that includes express routes into Manhattan.
For more information about the free rides program call 914-813-7777, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
