Beacon man pleads not guilty to charges stemming from Capitol riot

A former Metro-North railroad employee pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from his alleged participation in January's riots at the Capitol.
Will Pepe, 31, of Beacon, entered his plea during a virtual arraignment at federal court in Washington, according to court documents.
He faces charges including conspiracy, destruction of government property and disorderly conduct.
Pepe worked at a Metro-North train yard in Brewster.
His next court hearing is in August.
