Back-to-school season goes hand in hand with hayfever, according to allergists from ENT and Allergy.
Doctors say parents can keep symptoms at bay with medication, allergy shots, and lifestyle changes.
This includes changing outside clothes before going into a bedroom and washing your hair before bedtime to remove pollen.
If a child has food allergies, doctors say to come up with a prevention plan before heading back to school.
Experts also suggest children with food allergies carry treatment with them such as EpiPens if needed.
News 12's Rebecca Solomon will have more on back to school allergies coming up at 5 p.m.
