Newly released autopsy results show that the driver in the fatal Taconic State Parkway crash did not suffer from alcoholism, despite having twice the legal limit of alcohol in her system at the time of the accident.

The medical examiner had concluded that Diane Schuler drank 10 shots and was high on marijuana when she sat behind the wheel of a minivan with five children.

However, an autopsy revealed that Schuler's body showed no signs of long-term alcoholic abuse, such as alcoholic hepatitis or cirrhosis of the liver.

Thomas Ruskin, the Schuler family's private investigator, says he will hand over the autopsy report to forensic experts.
