Viewer video captured intense flames and black smoke at a factory complex in Middletown on Wisner and Midland avenues.
Authorities say the fire started around 10 a.m. and quickly spread due to heavy winds, which then sparked a secondary brush fire.
Witnesses reported hearing explosions inside, and first responders arrived at the scene with stretchers.
Officials say those explosions were from propane tanks in and around the buildings, which housed a movie studio, along with other commercial and industrial businesses.
"There are multiple buildings involved in the fire. They're quite old, so it's heavy timber and old timber. Unfortunately, these old buildings go up quick," said Vini Tankasali, Orange County fire coordinator.
Authorities say no one was injured in the fire.
