A Yonkers women who had always aspired to become a model, got her wish posthumously.
Jayna Montero had dreams of being on a billboard with a picture so stunning, she would stop traffic. Her dream came true after she died at the age of 28 from a drug overdose.

The billboard reads: “My dream was to be on a billboard…I didn’t know I would die before it would come true.”
It also includes the phone number to the NYS HOPEline, which is 877-846-7369.
"Her dreams were killed when she lost her life to this deadly disease," says Jayna’s mother, Regina Contrino.
She had the billboard installed at the corner of Worth Street and Saw Mill River Road in Yonkers with the hope of saving people who are battling addiction.
Contrino says she has been amazed by how many people have taken notice of Jayna's billboard. She says one person told her they admitted themselves into rehab within 12 hours of seeing it.
Donations through GoFundMe helped pay for the billboard. She hopes to erect more billboards statewide.
