An Ardsley triathlete came to the rescue after seeing a woman in a car plunge into the Woodlands Lake Tuesday morning.
Lisa Bruskin was on a bike ride through the VE Macy Park and saw a Bronx female driver in her 40s land her car in the lake.
The county police were right behind them and dived in as well, bringing the woman to safety
Bruskin tells News 12 that she didn’t think about her own safety, she just wanted to help.
County police say it’s not clear why the woman drove her car into the lake. She was taken to the hospital and is undergoing treatment.
