Anti-smoking ads get more aggressive
A Mount Kisco hospital is launching a new anti-smoking campaign to remind patients about the negative effects of smoking.
The campaign at Northern Westchester Hospital Center comes on the heels of some controversial, hard-hitting ads that are trying to shock parents into kicking the habit.
One such commercial being used by the New York City Department of Health features a terrified little boy who is lost in a crowd and searching for his mother or father.
The ad then looks to capture the desperation of the moment with a voiceover that says: "This is how your child feels after losing you for a minute. Just imagine if they lost you for life."
