Some 500 people showed up Saturday to get down and dirty and raise money for Tarrytown public schools.
The fifth annual Horseman “Color Me Mud” Run was hosted at Kingsland Park in Sleepy Hollow.
Coordinator Bonnie Barry says the event is family friendly and includes obstacles, games and food.
"Every single person here is donating to enrichment programs for Tarrytown such as literacy, wellness, new technology," said Shelly Colley, the event director.
Colley says the event is expected to raise anywhere between $15,000 and $30,000 for the students.
