Power outages and a street closure remained a problem Monday for some residents in Yorktown.
A downed tree Sunday knocked out power to hundreds and forced Con Edison to close down Stoney Street. Crews were able to restore power to all but 11 customers, including the Phoenix Academy. In addition, Con Edison is still working to fix utility poles along the street, which created trouble for those who needed to use the road.
Con Edison officials hope to have power restored sometime Monday.
