Alleged Bedford dominatrix suffered in marriage, reports claim
Long before an alleged Bedford dominatrix began dishing out pain in exchange for money, published reports claim she suffered at the hands of her abusive husband.
Sandra Chemero, 46, was busted last week after police say she offered an undercover cop sex. Authorities say that solicitation was illegal, not Chemero working as a dominatrix. Investigators are combing through Chemero's client list, which sources say include some high-profile Westchester names. She's due back in court Thursday, March 8.
Sandra spent five years with Christopher Chemero, the man she married at age 18. Christopher has admitted he was an alcoholic back then and says he often acted out against his wife. An expert tells News 12 Westchester people involved in sadomasochism often come from painful backgrounds.
Neighbors say they are still in shock that an alleged dominatrix was operating in upscale Bedford, which is home to stars like Martha Stewart and Glenn Close. The Jewish group that's renting the house to Chemero is working to evict her.
