10h agoThe Jacobs Family Pride Wellness Center of Montefiore Nyack Hospital began administering monkeypox vaccine Friday.
Appointments can be made by calling 845-348-7284.
There are certain qualifications as to who is eligible for the vaccine.
The qualifications include:
- Exposure to a suspected or confirmed monkeypox case within the past 14 days
- High risk people, such as members of the LGBTQ+ community
- Individuals who have had skin-to-skin contact with other men in the past 14 days
