Officials say a hot tub sparked a fire outside a home on Bryant Drive in Seaford.

According to officials, a call came in around 4:45 a.m. reporting the fire at the two-story private dwelling. The hot tub fire lead to the deck catching fire, officials say.

The fire caused extensive damage to the back of the house and severe damage on the inside of the home.

A total of 100 to 125 firefighters responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.

Officials say the cause of the fire is currently undetermined and there were no smoke detectors inside the home at the time.
