The village says it happened around 8 a.m.
They say the car was a newly purchased BMW, and the driver wouldn't stop for police after driving recklessly. He eventually crashed into Java Love.
The driver was placed into custody. The charges were not immediately made available.
Suffern Mayor Michael Curley is asking residents to visit Java Love to make up for the business they lost because of the crash.
