Both JFK and LaGuardia airports are warning customers of big congestion on the roads leading into the hubs.
Combine the volume of travelers with today's rains and winds – and it's a slow go.
There are also a growing number of delays and cancellations at both airports, so travelers should check with their carrier before heading out.
Meantime, there’s finally some relief for people in the UK as London's Gatwick airport is back up and running, but with delays and cancellations.
It was closed for about 36 hours after drones were spotted flying around the airport.
