Airbnb bans use of indoor security cameras

The rental app says this new rule is to protect renters' privacy.

Airbnb says it will ban indoor security cameras starting April 30 to protect renters' privacy.
Cameras used to be allowed in common areas like hallways and living rooms, however hosts had to mention them in the listing and make the cameras clearly visible.
The new rule doesn't allow cameras inside at all. This comes after numerous reports of renters finding hidden cameras.
