State and local lawmakers paid their respects to Shraga Gestener’s family today after he was killed in a deadly Israel stampede last week.
Gestener, 33, was one of the three Hudson Valley residents who died during a holy event in Northern Israel. Over 40 people were killed in the incident.
State Attorney General Letitia James and Rep. Mondaire Jones were in Monsey to pay their respects to the family.
