'A fireman's fireman.' - New Rochelle fire captain laid to rest after battle with COVID-19

Capt. Andrew DiMaggio joined the New Rochelle Fire Department back in 1989 and was promoted to captain in 2012.

A New Rochelle fire captain who succumbed to COVID-19 was laid to rest Wednesday. 
Capt. Andrew DiMaggio joined the New Rochelle Fire Department back in 1989 and was promoted to captain in 2012.
He was also a Westchester County fire instructor.
Those who have worked alongside him say he was a gentleman, a role model and a "fireman's fireman." 
DiMaggio is survived by his wife and four kids.
