The MTA says it has fired nine train conductors for allegedly cheating on a safety exam two months ago.
MTA officials say one of the conductors took a smartphone picture of the safety exam. The picture was then shared with others.
The MTA is investigating to see if the alleged cheating incident is isolated.
Three longtime workers were also demoted due to the scandal.
