Eight hospitals across Westchester and Rockland counties will receive nearly $265.8 million in funding.

Rep. Nita Lowey said the money is going toward essential expenses for treating coronavirus patients.

Officials say this funding is part of the more than $5 billion previously announced for 90 New York hospitals in COVID-19 high impact areas.
