Luck was the word of the day for eight couples who received free weddings at the Yonkers Raceway Friday.
The lucky couples were chosen from a bunch of soon-to-be spouses hoping to have a free bash on August 8, 2008.
The lovebirds say that eight is special not only because it's a lucky number in Asian culture, but also because when turned sideways, it is the sign for infinity.
Leticia Graves and her husband were among the chosen, although they were already hitched. The pair marked their fifth anniversary by renewing their vows.
"We got called and we're very excited," says Graves.
