Six Yonkers police officers were rushed to the hospital early Saturday morning after trying to break up a wild fight on a city block.
Police say they were called to the scene on Saratoga Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they found eight young men in the midst of a violent brawl.
According to the reponding officers, when they tried to break up the fighters, 25-year-old Universal Pilgrim and his 21-year-old brother, Prince Darkim, turned on them.
"This happens three or four times a night, where they all hang out late at night, and their parents really don't care," says Robert Barcko, of Yonkers.
The two brothers were charged with resisting arrest and assault.
The officers who responded to the brawl are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
