Four Rockland County brothers are now facing federal charges after allegedly defrauding Amazon out of $19 million.
According to the indictment, the four men, Yoel Abraham, Heshl Abraham, Zishe Abraham and Shmuel Abraham, agreed to sell Amazon goods at specific prices and quantities. They would then manipulate the retailer's vendor system and ship items far in excess of what they agreed to and at inflated prices.
The brothers allegedly ran the fraud ring out of the basement of a home in Monsey.
The indictment claims the scheme began back in 2017.
