Friday marks the last day of classes this school year for area Catholic schools, but four schools will be closing for good.In Westchester County, Immaculate Conception in Irvington and Holy Rosary in Hawthorne will be shutting down. In Rockland County, Immaculate Conception in Stony Point and St. Catherine's in Blauvelt will be closing.The closings are being attributed to escalating operating costs and declining enrollment. Officials say there are several schools near each one that is closing willing to accept students for next year.
