3 ex-casino employees indicted in alleged scam
Three former employees of the Empire City at Yonkers Raceway casino were indicted Tuesday for allegedly rigging promotional giveaways.
The three employees - Donna Cronin, Alicia Murray and Terrence Osborne -are accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars through a scam in which friends and family won rigged giveaways. The workers then allegedly received kickbacks.
Cronin, the accused ring leader, faces up to 15 years in prison for allegedly picking the names of friends and family for at least 75 different promotions totaling $100,000.
All three former employees pleaded not guilty in White Plains. They are expected back in court in September.
