About 500 people came out this morning to take part in the second annual Christmas Marathon at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers.
The event featured a marathon and 10K run.
Many donned Santa hats for the race.
Those running said the event helps build up an appetite for a big Christmas dinner.
The organizers also collected toys for the Marine Corps.' Toys for Tots program.
