Despite school closings due to possible exposure to the coronavirus, one local school is heading to Europe today on a trip.
About 25 students from Port Chester Middle School will soon be on their way to Spain.
The country has 150 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, and one death.
A spokesperson confirms parents had expressed concerns, but those concerns were addressed.

Some families in the district tell News 12 they think the trip should be canceled. "I don't think it’s a good idea to go, right now. Later, I don't know, maybe yes. But right now, I don’t think it’s a good idea," says parent Teifilo Vecerra.
News 12 requested an interview with district officials to find out why it hasn't been canceled, but those requests were declined.
