23 wanted on warrants busted in Rockland
Several people are under arrest in Rockland today after an operation that busted people wanted on warrants.
Operation "Look Over Your Shoulder" was launched by the Rockland County Sheriff's Office in May.
Twenty-three out of 50 people wanted in the county were arrested in the operation.
One suspect nabbed was 31-year-old Raymond Dennison, of Pearl River. Police say he was wanted for fleeing from police at a ShopRite in Middletown. He allegedly knocked over and injured an elderly woman in the process.
Phase two of the operation will begin shortly. Officials urge anyone with an outstanding warrant who doesn't want to be arrested at home or at work, to turn themselves in to local or state police.
