The 2020 Census is being extended because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Census Bureau suspended field data collection in March, and now says it hopes to restart on June 1.
At that point, workers will be advised to wear protective gear and maintain social distance.
The Bureau is also asking Congress to approve a 120-day extension before it delivers its final count of all Americans.
