2 people displaced after Yonkers apartment building fire

Fire officials say they got a call about flames at a fourth-floor apartment at 125 Bronx River Road around 1:55 a.m.

Two people are without a home this morning after a fire at an apartment building in Yonkers.
Fire officials say they got a call about flames at a fourth-floor apartment at 125 Bronx River Road around 1:55 a.m.
Resident were evacuated and crews were able to put the fire out quickly
No injuries have been reported.
A person in the apartment where the fire was, has been displaced. The person in the apartment below can also not return at this time because of water damage.
Everyone else in the building has been allowed to return to their units.
The building on Bronx River Road is just down the street from last month's apartment building fire that took the life of one of its residents, and left dozens injured.
