Police arrested two suspects Wednesday who they say are responsible for 12 bank robberies spanning Westchester and Connecticut.
Investigators say 28-year-old Spiro Mochus and 34-year-old Christopher Davis were apprehended after a surveillance camera caught Mochus robbing a Chase bank in Harrison.
Police pulled over Mochus' BMW in Stamford and took him into custody. Hours later, Davis was arrested at his home. The two were arraigned Thursday morning in Stamford Superior Court.
Both men are being held at the Bridgeport Correctional Facility. A judge set bail for Mochus at over a million dollars. Davis is held on $500,000 bail.
