2 Bronx pastors share space under one roof
Two Bronx pastors are leading their own congregations under one roof.
Pastor Kahli Mootoo of Bright Temple Church has welcomed Pastor Johnny Mercado and his Iglesia de Emmanuel Church parishioners to share the Hunts Point space.
Mootoo says often small churches are faced with the obstacle of outgrowing a space, while large parishes cannot afford their rent.
Mootoo says the additional funds from Mercado's use of the space will go toward repairing the church's boiler and leaky roof.
