1977 graduate of Byram Hills High School found dead in Greece
The body of a Byram Hills High School graduate has been found in Greece.
Scientist Suzanne Eaton's employer shared the news that Greek police found her body Monday night.
The 59-year-old was last seen on the island of Crete on Tuesday, July 2, while attending a conference.
Police say Easton was an avid runner and believe she went on a run, as all of her items were still in her room, but her running shoes were gone.
The cause of her death is under investigation.
She was a molecular biologist with the Max Planck Institute at Dresden University in Germany. Officials from the institute said in a statement that she was a an "inspiring scientist" and a good friend who will be missed.
Eaton leaves behind a husband and two sons.
