12-year-old girl releases her 4th book
New York's youngest author launched her fourth book Friday night.
Anaya Lee Willabus, age 12, released her newest book "Make It Happen" at Brooklyn Borough Hall. Willabus wrote her first book back in 2015 when she was just 8 years old.
Her new book is part of a series.
"It shares my story and it talks about the challenges that I overcome, and how I overcome them," she explains. "I feel like every book has at least one thing that can relate to every person and my goal, when I write books, is for the book to be relatable to other kids and also share something that they haven't yet heard of."
Over the years, Willabus has traveled to promote the importance of literacy here at home and around the world.
