11 people hurt in Soundview crash
A serious car accident right outside News 12 The Bronx's studios sent 11 people to the hospital, including at least three children. The crash happened at the corner of Soundview and Story avenues.

A serious car accident right outside News 12 The Bronx's studios sent 11 people to the hospital, including at least three children.
The crash happened at the corner of Soundview and Story avenues.
An SUV collided with a livery cab full of passengers. Witnesses say that emergency crews arrived almost immediately and the victims were loaded onto stretchers.
Police say the 11 victims were taken to Jacobi Medical Center. Of those victims, eight are being treated for injuries considered serious but not life-threatening.
The cause of the accident is still unknown.
People who work and live in the area say the intersection is notorious for speeders.
