A hit-and-run crash left a pedestrian seriously injured Saturday in Suffern, according to police.
Authorities say the woman was crossing the street by Woodland Avenue when a car struck her and then left the scene. She was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center for treatment.
Her identity has not been disclosed. However, Suffern’s mayor confirms she is a Ramapo resident.
The accused driver was apprehended by police and remains in custody.
