White Plains Hospital opened a new high-tech laboratory to expand testing and treatments for patients.

Officials say the lab will help diagnose people faster with point-of-care analyzers.

White Plains Hospital is the fifth largest hospital-based laboratory in New York state.

More than four million tests a year are processed there.
