Charles Ameer, 65, of Weston, was sentenced to 21 months in federal prison for embezzling $890,000 from the Weston Soccer Club and his employer, Indeco North America.
According to court records, Ameer misappropriated nearly $40,000 from the soccer club in 2016.
He then used his position as CFO at Indeco North America to cover those losses and stole an additional $850,000 from the company before his arrest last year.
