New Jersey will be experiencing some wet and cooler weather over the next day, with the possibility of some thunderstorms.
Storm Watch Team meteorologists say that better weather is expected for the weekend.
WHAT’S NEW: Tracking the potential for thunderstorms overnight into Thursday. The storms are not expected to be severe, however.
WHAT’S NEXT: Rainy weather expected to return for the start of next week.
OVERNIGHT: Passing rain showers with some foggy spots. Temperatures dipping into the 60s.
THURSDAY: On-and-off rain, with the heaviest conditions in the western part of New Jersey. Daytime highs around 75 degrees, with temperatures dipping to around 63 degrees overnight.
FRIDAY: A bit of improvement. Partly sunny skies and daytime highs around 82 degrees. Overnight lows dip into the low-60s.
SATURDAY: Summer weather returns! Plenty of sunshine, with daytime highs in the upper-80s and low-90s. Overnight lows around 63 degrees.
SUNDAY: Starts off sunny, with some clouds developing later in the day. Daytime highs in the upper-80s, with lows in the 60s.
