Chance of thundershowers today, cold front to bring gusty storms on Wednesday
Grab the umbrella as a couple of showers and an isolated thundershower are possible across the Hudson Valley today.

NOW: A few showers this morning with a better chance for scattered showers and an isolated thundershower (nothing strong or severe thankfully) this afternoon into early this evening.
NEXT: Watching a strong cold front for Wednesday that will bring the chance for a gusty line of showers and storm during the afternoon and early evening.
Although there will be rain through the day today, it won’t be a total washout. There will be some nice weather with a mix of sun and clouds during most of the morning. Highs jump into the 60s this afternoon with a few scattered showers and an isolated thundershower. While a brief downpour and rumble of thunder cannot be ruled out, there is no strong to severe weather expected today.
Tuesday will be the best day of the week with mostly sunny skies and highs around 70.
Wednesday will start off OK during the morning, but will a strong cold front will bring an increasing threat of showers and a few gusty thunderstorms during the afternoon and early evening. Highs around will be in the mid-60s, but will be dropping quickly through the 50s as the front moves through. Gusty winds are possible Thursday evening.
Friday is forecast to be mostly sunny with highs around 62 degrees. Saturday should be more of the same with a high of 66.
Periods of rain likely Sunday with highs around 60.
Monday will have partly sunny skies with the chance of some afternoon showers. Highs will be in the low- to mid-60s.
Tuesday looks to be the best weather day of the week, with sun and temperatures reaching 70 degrees.
Heavy rain will arrive Wednesday with temperatures back down into the 60s.
