A Bronx middle school is mourning the loss of their teacher after investigators say she and her two children were killed by her husband over the weekend in an apparent murder-suicide.  
Morgan, her two sons and her husband were found dead in their Rockland County home on Saturday. 
Initial reports from investigators have pointed to Morgan’s husband, Watson, as the man who shot and killed her and her two sons before taking his own life. Watson was serving as a sergeant in the nearby Bronxville police department.  
Students at One World Middle School are missing the technology teacher, Ms. Ornela Morgan, who worked with kids from sixth to eighth grade. The American flag was at half-mast at the school and colorful flowers were delivered to the school in Morgan’s memory.  
The Department of Education released the following statement in response to this incident:  
“This is an absolutely tragic loss for the entire community, and we are working in close collaboration with the school to provide additional supports as they grieve the loss of a beloved member of the school community.” 
School faculty informed News 12 that students are currently receiving grieving counseling services to cope with the tragic loss.
