Businesses in Tarrytown were left without water after a main broke behind the train station overnight.

Police say the break happened on Green Street, near the backside of the Tarrytown Train Station.

Workers shut down the valve to stop the flow of water, and repair crews were seen working at the site Tuesday morning.

The village assistant administrator says The Sailhouse and Barley on the Hudson were the only businesses without water.

The cause of the break is still unknown.
