A cold front will pass through the region overnight and bring scattered snow showers on Sunday morning.

A coating of 1 inch is expected. The highest totals could reach between 1 and 2 inches. Snow will end by noon.

Colder air settles in Sunday night and sticks around through Monday. Overnight wind chills could drop to zero. Monday’s temperatures will likely remain in the 20s across much of the Hudson Valley. It will feel noticeably colder compared to the start of the weekend.

An active storm track moves in starting Tuesday. Prepare for icy travel and snow during the Tuesday evening commute, but it goes from wintry to wet by Wednesday. Rain is expected to close off the week, with temperatures above normal.

Very mild weather will move in next weekend with the potential for temperatures in the 60s for the first time since last November.
