Subway service is back to normal after a power outage caused hundreds of passengers to be stuck underground for nearly three hours.
The ordeal happened during Wednesday evening's rush hour.
Two F trains suddenly stopped underground after Con Edison said an electric cable went out.
The incident left commuters frustrated.
"I’m diabetic so I needed to get home and take my medicine," said passenger Karina Justice. "And I couldn’t."
The MTA says it will be working with Con Ed to figure out how a power outage like this could lead to such a major disruption.
