The man accused of killing another driver during a road rage incident faced a judge in Mount Pleasant Town Court this afternoon.
Christian Walczyk’s case was quickly adjourned today after his attorney waived the reading of his charges including manslaughter.
State police say Walczyk, 21, stabbed Daniel Siino, 28, of Hartsdale, to death in an apparent fight outside of their cars on the Taconic Parkway Saturday night. They say Walczyk was driving south on the parkway around 10:30 p.m. when he and Siino eventually pulled over near mile marker 6.6 in Mount Pleasant.
Siino was stabbed during the altercation and was later pronounced dead at the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla.
Walczyk was arrested without incident at the scene. He appeared in court today wearing a suit and tie, as well as a bandage around his hand.
Walczyk will remain in jail until his next court appearance on Aug. 3.
