HEADLINES:
A parade of storms expected on Long Island, with temperatures mostly above normal for the next week.
Tuesday starts with clouds followed by afternoon sunshine, with highs in the 40s. It will turn breezy and colder, with temperatures falling into the 20s at night.
Wednesday will be the coldest day of the week, with highs in the 30s. We are tracking a storm to arrive late Wednesday night into Thursday morning, with a wintry mix changing to rain.
The Thursday morning commute could become slippery in spots before temperatures rise above freezing by late morning.
Drier weather returns by Friday for Sam's Pick of the Week, with nice and seasonable weather.
Another storm approaches this weekend bringing the chance for light snow and a mix late Saturday, changing to rain by Sunday with daytime highs in the 40s. The following week will turn a little bit colder, with more storms on the horizon.
