STORM WATCH: Warm weather kicks off workweek, temps steadily drop with 50/50 chance for snow mid-week in NYC

News 12 meteorologists say that despite the warm weather today, a combination of a clipper and a coastal storm could threaten New York City with light accumulations of snow Wednesday afternoon.
TODAY: It's expected to be a warmer day than normal with highs near 63 degrees. It should get a bit windy in the evening. Expect rain to arrive after 6 p.m. Temperatures are expected to drop down near 36 degrees.
TUESDAY: Tomorrow should see a mix of sun and clouds. It will be chillier than Monday with highs near 43 degrees and lows nears 33 degrees.
WEDNESDAY: There is the potential for a hit or miss weather scenario that could bring the first accumulating snow to NYC. Regardless of snow conditions, expect a cloudy day with highs near 40 degrees and lows near 29 degrees. Afternoon snow showers possible, otherwise cloudy.
THURSDAY: The day should be partly sunny and breezy with highs near 40 degrees and lows near 34 degrees.
FRIDAY: A clipper is expected to bring rain showers with some gusty winds in the evening. Expect highs near 50 degrees and lows in the mid-40s.
