It was a nice rebound from this morning, when there was rain for the commute. As the sun broke through the clouds, temperatures will climb to a seasonal high in the upper 40s, making today the brightest and mildest day of the work week.
Rain Returns Thursday
The break in the weather will be short-lived. Clouds will thicken tonight as another weather system approaches, bringing the return of patchy fog. Rain is expected to arrive during the pre-dawn hours on Thursday.
We can expect off-and-on rain throughout Thursday, with total accumulations likely ranging between half an inch and an inch. Fortunately, temperatures will remain high enough to keep any wintry mix out of the forecast.
