The steadiest rain is going to be into the evening commute. While rain totals will be less than one inch, slow down for the wet road conditions even through this evening.
It is not until towards and after midnight that the lower Hudson Valley completely dries out. Rain showers can end with a wet snowflake, but not with any accumulation.
Temperatures gradually drop from the upper 30s and into the upper 20s to low 30s tonight and into Saturday morning. While central and southern Westchester County should be above freezing, areas north and west will dip below freezing, allowing for some re-freezing of standing water on untreated surfaces. Please watch out for scattered icy areas very early tomorrow morning.
THE WEEKEND...
Looks nice for this time of year overall! Dress for winter and expect dry weather for Saturday and most of Sunday. There is a slight chance for a quick passing nighttime snow or rain shower Sunday night into Monday morning.
If you are dreaming of warmer weather - Monday is for you! You might even leave the jacket unzipped it in the afternoon. High temperatures approach near 50 degrees. Granted, it can be breezy at times and mostly cloudy.
Tuesday will be dry and more seasonable. There can be a mix changing to rain Wednesday night into Thursday next week.
